These darn creatures are dying out but they're so crucial in our environment.
Luckily, urban beekeeping is on the rise and even legal in NYC.
I look forward to learning about these and hopefully, have a hive of my own, or to share.
FUNFACTS:
1. the worker bees (all male) devote their lives
to serve the queen bee.
2. the bee detaches from its stinger after a strike, and dies.
3. after a bee love session, the male dies.
